Recently we had a very exciting Program Car Delivery that featured not one, but TWO recipients!

Our first recipient, Brian, who recently got a job working with the elderly, was presented with a 2000 Ford Explorer. His previous position was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. After moving from PA to MD, Brian’s current vehicle would not pass MD inspection and the cost of repairs was too high. With the vehicle he received, Brian will regain peace of mind, knowing his personal transportation is reliable. He plans to donate his old vehicle to us – thank you Brian! Brian was referred by Bob of Justice Jobs of Maryland. Thank you, Alexander, for donating the Explorer to us and helping the Frederick Community!

Our second recipient was Kristen, who works with the YMCA of Frederick County Headstart, and was presented with a 2005 Subaru Outback. As a mother of 3, living paycheck to paycheck, she strives to find a career and, thus, stability. With the vehicle she will receive, Kristen will have the freedom to dream big. She can now conduct job searchers and run errands on her own schedule. Kristen was referred by Rena of Frederick County Workforce Services.
