Shelby a single mom, raising her young daughter, was presented with a 2011 Nissan Versa. She works at Weis Markets but has to take the bus or walk to her shifts. When traveling with her young daughter, she struggles with a car seat on the bus. With the vehicle she will receive, Shelby can safely transport her daughter to daycare. She will also regain the freedom to run errands, attend doctor’s appointments, and make it to her shifts on her own time. In addition to attending recovery meetings, Shelby hopes to support others in their journey. We thank Kelly Overholtzer, with the Seton Center Outreach Office for referring Shelby, and Mr. Esparza for donating his vehicle to us in May.
