Brianne Selders made a name for herself during her summer internship at Second Chances Garage in Frederick. Brianne, 16, did a good job picking up on things, said Rick Trawick, Second Chances Garage Inc. executive director. “And she’s not afraid to get dirty.” “I just finished putting front struts on a Dodge Caravan,” Brianne said on one of the last days of her six-week internship, “and I did it all by myself.” The only girl in the Frederick County Public Schools Career and Technology Center’s auto body/collision repair program this year, Brianne is one of just four females who have ever been enrolled in the vocational training program.
